In a letter sent to the Special Secretary to the Chief Secretary, the Raj Bhavan office has asked him to give instructions to all concerned HODs. It has been said that the salary should be released without any gap in view of the Mahashivratri festival. It is likely that the salary amount will be released to all the employees this week itself.

Employees Salary: There is relief news for the employees of Kashmir division. Salary will be issued soon to other minority employees who come under PM package after rejoining their duties. In this regard, the Lieutenant Governor has given instructions to the heads of all the departments through the Chief Secretary’s Office.

The Jammu and Kashmir Secretariat has directed all department heads from the office of the Chief Secretary to release the salaries of the employees and other minority employees covered under the Prime Minister’s Package. As per the order, the salaries of only those who have returned to work and resumed work will be released, the salaries of government employees sitting on strike will not be released.

Salary will be received before Mahashivratri

This is the whole matter

In fact, amid the situation arising out of the targeted killings, Kashmiri Pandit employees, including other minority employees appointed under the Prime Minister’s package, left the Valley and came to Jammu, after which the salary of these employees was stopped.

In the same November, Kashmiri Pandits, government employees, expressed their displeasure over the statement of Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, in which he said that if the employees do not return to work, they cannot pay them, they have called Kashmiri Pandit government employees posted in the valley. Employees and SC/ST employees of Jammu region were denied release of salary.
