Employee News: There is good news for the daily wage workers of Lohardaga district of Jharkhand. Jharkhand High Court has ordered to pay seven percent interest on the outstanding honorarium, giving great relief to 13 daily wage computer operators working in the BDO office.

In fact, the honorarium of the computer operator working in the BDO office of Lohardaga was stopped from November 2021 without assigning any reason. After this, they stopped serving from June and wrote a letter to the MNREGA commissioner in March, requesting them to make their pending payments, but when the hearing did not happen for several months, the employees moved the court and filed a writ petition seeking interest and compensation. Honorarium demanded.

In this case, Amritansh Vats, the advocate of the applicant, told the court that the honorarium of the employees has been paid on November 24, but the interest was not given on the outstanding honorarium, in such a situation, interest should also be given in view of the condition of the employees, on which Justice Anand Sen’s court of Jharkhand High Court, while hearing a writ petition filed by 13 daily wage computer operators working in BDO office in Lohardaga district, has also ordered seven percent interest on the outstanding honorarium.
