AIS App for Taxpayers: The Income Tax Department has launched a special mobile app taking care of the facilities of taxpayers. Whose name is “AIS For Taxpayers”. Through this app, taxpayers will be able to see important information related to tax and updates of Income Tax Department on mobile only.
They will get the benefit of many facilities on a single platform. The Income Tax Department said that on this app, taxpayers will get comprehensive information about annual TDS / TCS, interest, share deals and dividends. Not only this, they will also be able to share their opinion on the app.

According to the Income Tax Department, taxpayers will also have information about Annual Information Statement / Tax Information Summary (TIS) available on this app. Anyone can download it from Google Play Store. Here you can find GST statistics, foreign remittances, income tax refunds, tax payments, etc. The Income Tax Department has introduced this app to ease compliance and provide better services to the taxpayer.

To take advantage of the features available on the app, you need to download it first. After that register by entering the details of your PAN number. An authenticated OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number or email ID on the e-filing portal. Then set a 4 digit pin.
