According to media reports, recently, a meeting of Northern Railway General Manager Ashutosh Gangal and representatives of Northern Railway Men’s Union was held at Baroda House, in which it was said that payment of any one item is stopped when the employees of Operations and Commerce Department retire. And the employees are told that after the no-objection letter is received from the Accounts Department from the Northern Railway Headquarters, the withheld amount will be paid.
In the meeting, it was also told by the union that this amount ranges from Rs 50000 to 2 lakh, in such a situation, the no-objection letter of most of the retired employees comes after five years, due to which the payment gets stuck and even if it comes early then DRM Have to go to the office. After considering these points, the General Manager agreed to make the payment even without a no-objection letter.
