The government telecom company has installed 41,000 new 4G mobile towers across the country to give better network connectivity to the users. The company’s target is to install 1 lakh 4G mobile towers by June next year.

BSNL has shared this information from its official X handle. The company said in its social media post that another milestone has been completed. 41,000 4G sites have gone on air. The company is working rapidly to improve 4G coverage across India so that users can get better connectivity at a lower cost. The special thing about BSNL’s 4G mobile tower is that all the equipment and devices installed in it are made with indigenous technology and are made in India itself.
Target of installing 1 lakh towers
Recently, Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had said that BSNL’s 4G/5G service will be launched in June next year. The company is installing 1 lakh Made in India mobile towers for this. In this year’s budget, the government has allocated a fund of more than Rs 80 thousand crore to revive BSNL and MTNL. This fund will be used for the infrastructure of the government telecom company.

Double happiness on Diwali
After the mobile plans of private telecom companies Airtel, Jio and Vi (Vodafone-Idea) became expensive in July, lakhs of users have turned to BSNL.
