It has come to the notice of the Board that some anti-social elements are regularly spreading rumors of paper leak on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms and claiming access to question papers of 2023 examinations.
The CBSE board has once again issued a big alert in the public interest for the students to stay away from rumours. Cautioning against rumors and fake information about CBSE board exams, the board has said that students should not get misled and give money to anti-social elements.
Let us tell you that the annual examinations of CBSE class X and XII have started for this year. The examinations will continue till April 5, 2023. The board has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth and fair conduct of the examinations. It has come to the notice of the Board that some anti-social elements are regularly spreading rumors of paper leak on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms. On these platforms, they are claiming access to the question papers of the year 2023 examinations. These persons, groups and agencies intend to loot the innocent students and parents and demand money in return. Such irresponsible activities create confusion and panic among the students and the public.
Board will take strict action
The Board is alert and proactive in identifying and taking action against those spreading fake news and rumours. On coming to know about fake news, CBSE has been continuously directing Delhi Police Special Cell (MAC) to take strict action against persons involved in disseminating fake news using social media platforms under various provisions of Indian Penal Code and IT Act. Notifying. If any student is found involved in spreading fake news, CBSE will take action against the student involved under unfair means rules and various sections of IPC.
Parents are also requested to guide their children not to pay heed to such rumors and not indulge in any such activity which is against the smooth conduct of board examinations. Therefore the public is alerted to avoid such information during examinations. CBSE has requested that students should not participate in such activities and should not disseminate such information. Cooperate with the Board to maintain the integrity of the examination at all costs.
