CBSE Board Class 10th, 12th Exam 2024: The 10th and 12th examinations of CBSE Board i.e. Central Board of Secondary Education are starting from 15th February 2024 and for this the board has issued admit cards. However, from this year onwards CBSE board students will get the opportunity to appear in the board examination twice. In fact, recently the Education Ministry had made a big announcement regarding the board exams that now the board exams will be conducted twice a year.
This has been done due to changes in the education system as per the New Education Policy (NEP). According to this, from this year onwards students of 10th and 12th CBSE board will appear for the board exams twice a year. It is expected that the examination will be conducted for the first time in November-December 2024 and for the second time in February-March. However, no official information has been given yet by CBSE in this regard.
Last year, the Education Ministry had announced to conduct board examinations twice a year under the New Curriculum Framework (NCF). This framework has been done with the aim of making changes in the examination system, not making board exams a bogey, as well as increasing the pass percentage of students.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had said that students will have the option to appear for the class 10th and class 12th board exams twice a year like JEE. Students can choose their best score. But this will be completely optional, there will be no compulsion.
Board exams are conducted only once a year by all the state boards including CBSE board. Be it UP Board or Rajasthan Board or MP Board or CBSE Board, all the boards conduct class 10th, 12th examinations from February to April. CBSE has been conducting 10th and 12th boards from 15th February for the last two years.
