Lucknow, JNN. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have congratulated all the people of Ramadan, starting on Saturday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that on the holy days of Ramadan, good works like Roza, service to humanity, God-shutdown, promote patience, self-discipline, tolerance, simplicity etc. This also strengthens the feeling of mutual love and brotherhood.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh is an example of harmony, brotherhood and cultural unity. Keeping this heritage and tradition intact, the Muslim brothers should do religious work by staying in the houses in view of the Corona transition. He said that it should be ensured that there is no crowd.
Governor Anandiben Patel said in his message that the month of Ramadan gives us a message of prayer, restraint, mutual love and harmony as well as help for the poor and needy. The Governor has appealed to the people to pray in the homes of Corona infection by staying in their homes. He said that those who get out of the house for necessary work, cover the face with a mask or cloth and take full care of the physical distance as well.
SP National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav while wishing the people of the country for Ramadan, said that in the happy month of Ramadan, one gets to learn of sympathy and patience. The aim of Ramadan is to avoid evils and to follow righteousness.
Shia and Sunni Waqf Board instructions – crowd should not gather at the time of Sahri and Iftar
The Shia and Sunni Waqf Board have instructed not to gather at any place during Sahri and Iftar on the occasion of Ramadan. Everyone has been asked to offer Namaz at home. Earlier in the day, Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has spoken to the Waqf Board officials across the country and directed them to strictly follow the lockdown. After this, the Chief Executive Officer of the Sunni Waqf Board, SM Shoaib, on Friday directed all Mutawallis and management committees not to congregate during the Namaz at any place. Strict action will be taken against those who do not follow orders. A similar order has also been issued by the Shia Waqf Board.
