Announcing the increase in the prices of CNG and PNG, Maharashtra Gas Limited said that due to the substantial increase in the cost, the price of fuels has to be increased. The increased rates will be applicable from Tuesday midnight.

This is the second increase in their prices in the last one week. Earlier on April 6, the price of CNG was increased by Rs 7 per kg and that of PNG by Rs 5 per cubic meter.
What is the price in Maharashtra?
In this way, within a week, the price of CNG in Maharashtra has increased by Rs 12 per kg and PNG by Rs 9.5 per cubic meter. CNG in Mumbai is now Rs 72 per kg and PNG used in kitchens has become Rs 45.50 per cubic meter.
