CNG PNG Price Hike: After the increase in the price of CNG, the new price in Mumbai has now gone up to Rs 63.50 per kg.
At the same time, the new price of piped natural gas has gone up to Rs 38 per unit. This year, the price of CNG in Mumbai has been increased by Rs 16 per kg in the last 11 months.
Once again the prices of vehicle fuel CNG and LPG reaching homes through pipes (CNG PNG Price Hike) have been increased. The price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) has been increased by Rs 2 per kg. This increase includes tax.
These rates will be considered applicable from this morning i.e. 18 December 2021. Apart from CNG, the price of LPG PNG has also been increased by Rs 2 per kg.
After the increase in CNG rate, now the new price in Mumbai is Rs 63.50 per kg. At the same time, the revised price of piped natural gas in Mumbai has gone up to Rs 38 per unit.
Let us inform that this year, the price of CNG in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region has been increased by Rs 16 per kg within the last 11 months. This has a direct impact on 8 lakh customers of the metropolitan area.
The change in CNG prices has a direct impact on 3 lakh personal car users. Apart from this, people traveling in public transport like autos, taxis and buses have been affected by this increase. Also, for the fourth time in the last three months, the price of CNG has been increased.
The Kaali Peeli taxi and autorickshaw unions were demanding a hike in fares this time. After the increase of Rs 16 per kg in CNG prices this year, the minimum fare for kali-peeli taxis has been increased by Rs.5 and that of autorickshaws by Rs.2.
No change in the prices of petrol and diesel
Government Oil Companies (IOCL) have released new rates of petrol and diesel (Petrol-Diesel Price Today 18 Dec 2021). Even today, there has been no change in the prices of both the conventional fuels in the four metros. The prices of both the fuels have remained stable since Diwali.
According to the new rate, today petrol price in Delhi is being sold at Rs 95.41 and diesel at Rs 86.67 per liter. Petrol in Mumbai is Rs 109.98 and diesel Rs 94.14, in Chennai petrol is Rs 101.40 and diesel Rs 91.43 and in Kolkata, petrol is Rs 104.67 and diesel Rs 89.79 per liter.
