Coronavirus effect: A collector is making people drink the decoction, while other tribals are aware

0

Jaipur, Narendra Sharma. The government and the common man are fighting their own way against the Corona infection. In this fight, two district collectors of Rajasthan are playing their role in their own style. One of them is Churu District Collector Sandesh Nayak and the other is Pratapgarh District Collector Anupama Kherwal. While Churu district is considered economically prosperous, Pratapgarh district is a completely tribal area. The tribals here neither have any enthusiasm to take advantage of government schemes nor are they more aware of the corona infection. In such a situation, the entire government machinery including the district collector has to go among the tribals and make them aware about the protection from corona. Due to the scattered population of tribals, it is very difficult to provide food, medicines, clean water and sanitizer to them. But Corona Warrier is engaged in this work.

Decoction packets are being delivered from house to house

Churu District Collector Sandesh Nayak himself is walking in the villages these days and making people aware about drinking Ayurvedic decoction. They themselves give the villagers their own hand. From tehsildar to patwari and teacher, they have employed the villagers to feed them decoction. Sandesh Nayak says that this will strengthen people’s immunity, so the chances of corona infection will be less. By the way, Sandesh Nayak started the process of giving Ayurvedic decoction in the months of November and December last year when the outbreak of Swanflu was enough. Now from the end of March, they are making people aware to drink decoction again.

He has given instructions that whether the District Collectorate Office or any other government office visitor should be given a cup of tea in place of tea. The same decoction is being served in villages’ chaupal and in the towns and main places of Churu city. The decoction is being distributed door-to-door as packets.

Sandesh Nayak says that this decoction is very useful in increasing immunity. The decoction is fed by mixing long, dry ginger, basil leaves, black pepper and big cardamom. He says that it cannot be said that this will cure corona, but it is sure that if the immunity of the people is strong, then the chances of getting into the circle will be less.

Tribals are being aware about the use of soap and sanitizer

Pratapgarh District Collector Anupama Jorwal is engaged in the work of making people aware of the population settled on the hills scattered in the tribal-dominated Pratapgarh district. She herself distributes soap, towels, sanitizers and masks among the tribals. The biggest difficulty here is that the tribals neither know full about the corona nor do they know about the damage caused by it. Due to this, first they are told about this epidemic and then the collector himself motivates them for cleaning.

Explains about social distancing. Sanitizers, masks and soaps are being provided to the tribals at government expense and with the help of donors. The District Collector himself distributes the flour, lentils, rice, spices and other items in his cart. The result of administrative hard work is that not a single positive case has been reported here since last 28 days. Initially 2 positive cases were found, he recovered and went home. Similarly, Dr. Manju, posted on the post of Sub Divisional Officer in Udaipur, is motivating tribal women for cleaning.
