MP DA Hike: Madhya Pradesh government has given a big gift to government employees before Holi. The state government has increased the dearness allowance of government officers and employees by 4 percent. Now this dearness allowance has increased to 46 percent. The Finance Department of the State Government has also issued an order in this context.
It has been said in the order that the current dearness allowance of the employees is 42 percent, after the increase of 4 percent it has become 46 percent.
In the order issued, it has been clearly stated that the rate of dearness allowance will be considered increased till July 2023 and its benefit will be given to the employees from March 1, 2024. At the same time, the arrear amount from July 1, 2023 to February 29, 2024 will be paid in three equal installments.
Apart from the Centre, all the state governments have increased DA.
Lok Sabha elections are near and before that the Central Government has increased DA by 4 percentage points to 50%. Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh gave a big gift to the state employees before Holi. The state government has increased dearness allowance by 4 percent.
Jharkhand government has also increased DA from the existing 46% to 50% of the basic salary from January 1 this year.
Arunachal Pradesh government has also announced additional 4% DA for its employees.
Himachal government had also announced a 4% increase in DA for its employees last week. Tripura and Gujarat have also increased DA for their state government employees this month.
