4 percent increase in dearness allowance
In fact, dearness allowance was increased by 4 percent by the Uttarakhand government. For this orders were issued by the Finance Secretary 5 days ago. With the issuance of the order by the Finance Secretary, Uttarakhand Power Transmission Corporation Uttarakhand Limited has given the gift of increase in dearness allowance to the employees.
The rate of dearness allowance for employee pensioners has been increased at the rate of 4 percent. After getting the approval of the same Pitkul, MD, as per the instructions of the government, its orders have been issued allowing the dearness allowance. The dearness allowance of the employees getting seventh pay was increased from 4 per cent to 42 per cent. At present, the benefit of 38 per cent dearness allowance was being made available to the employees.
Sixth Pay Scale: Dearness Allowance increased by 9 percent
The dearness allowance of the employees getting the same sixth pay scale has been increased by 9 percent. After which it has increased from 212% to 221%. These employees have been given the benefit of increase in DA from January 1, 2023. In such a situation, they will be paid in cash for arrears till April 30.
The file was prepared for the increase in dearness allowance for 3 lakh employees. A letter in this regard was sent to the Chief Minister on behalf of the Finance Department. In the cabinet meeting of May 22, the decision to increase the dearness allowance was taken by the Chief Minister. On May 2, orders for increase in dearness allowance were issued by Finance Secretary Dilip Jawalkar.
Cash payment of arrears
Now orders have been issued to increase the dearness allowance for the employees of Power Corporation. Along with this, an amount of up to ₹ 40000 can be seen in the account of the employees. They will also be paid the arrears in cash.
