7th Pay Commission DA Hike: Another good news has come out for the government employees. This state government has increased the dearness allowance to appease the employees in the election year. Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s government has recently increased the DA of all employees by four percent.
Now, like the Central Government employees, the State Government employees are also getting 42 per cent dearness allowance in some states. This allowance will be given to the employees in MP by adding it to this month’s salary. The special thing is that the employees will also be given arrears of 6 months. Now the central government will also increase the dearness allowance of the central government employees.
These employees will get arrears in 3 installments
The Madhya Pradesh government has announced that the employees will get 42% dearness allowance at par with the Centre. Arrears of dearness allowance will also be given from January to June. But the arrears will be given in three instalments. At present, the employees in the state are getting 38 per cent dearness allowance. But, from June it has been increased to 42 percent. With this, the employee-officer will get benefit of Rs 400 to 6000 every month. Apart from this, there will be a uniform increase in the dearness allowance of all the employees drawing salary on the basis of the sixth pay scale. Employees who have served for 35 years till July 1, 2023 will also get salary on the basis of fourth pay scale.
Dearness allowance will increase again in july
The government may make the second increase in dearness allowance this year in July. At present, the dearness allowance of government employees is 42 per cent. If the central government increases it by 4 percent, then it will increase to 46 percent. Due to the increase in dearness allowance, there will be a minimum annual increase of Rs 8,640 in the salary of government employees. It is expected that the central government may once again increase the dearness allowance by 4 per cent. If this happens, the DA of central employees will increase from 42 per cent to 46 per cent. The dearness allowance of the employees is calculated on the basis of AICPI index.
