Dearness allowance and dearness relief of thousands of employees and pensioners have been increased by four percent. DA has been increased at the rate of 9 percent for employees receiving the 6th pay scale. Orders have been issued for this.
DA Hike Update: Central government employees and pensioners are looking forward to increase in dearness allowance. Their dearness allowance is to be increased from July 2023. Earlier, the state government had increased the dearness allowance of lakhs of employees and pensioners by four percent. Notification has also been issued for this.
9 percent increase in DA
Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang had announced a four percent increase in the dearness allowance of the state government employees and pensioners. After which its orders have been issued.
Under the order issued, the employees receiving the seventh pay scale will be given the benefit of increased dearness allowance at the rate of 4%. With this, their dearness allowances have increased from 38% to 42%. Their dearness allowance was increased from January 1, 2023. In such a situation, they will also be paid the amount of 9 months arrears.
9 percent increase in dearness allowance
A 9 percent increase in dearness allowance and dearness relief was announced for government employees and pensioners receiving the sixth pay scale. For which orders have been issued. Under the order issued, their dearness allowances have increased from 212% to 221% from January 1, 2023.
Payment of 9 months arrear amount
Under the same pay revision, it has been decided to increase the dearness allowance of AIS employees receiving seventh pay scale from 38% to 42%, while the dearness allowance of All India Service Officers receiving sixth pay scale has been increased by 9 percent.
They will be given the benefit of 221 percent dearness allowance. Arrears amount of 9 months will also be provided to these employees. In such a situation, a huge amount can be seen in their account.
