Rajasthan DA Hike: There is good news for the government employees and pensioners of Rajasthan who have been waiting for the last 6 months to get their increased dearness allowance. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given his approval to the proposal to increase the dearness allowance of the employees. They will get this increased allowance from January 2023. According to the report, CM Gehlot approved this order for government employees working under the 5th Pay Commission and Rajasthan Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 1998.
DA increased by 412 percent
According to the associate website Zee Business, with this decision of Rajasthan Government (Rajasthan DA Hike), the rate of dearness allowance of pensioners and government employees in the state will increase from 396 percent to 412 percent. The outstanding DA pensioners from January 2023 to March 2023 will get cash, while it will be deposited in the General Provident Fund account of government employees doing duty. The government claimed that this decision would greatly benefit the pensioners and employees of the state.
Salary revision after 9 months
Let us inform that earlier in October 2022, the Rajasthan Government (Rajasthan DA Hike) had revised the rates of dearness allowance of government employees. At that time the DA was 381 per cent, which was increased to 396. After this, it has now been increased to 412 percent, which is expected to benefit thousands of employees of the state.

Along with the Rajasthan government (Rajasthan DA Hike), the Chhattisgarh government has also released good news for its employees. The Bhupesh Baghel government of the state has increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) by 5 percent. With this, now it has increased to 38 percent, whereas earlier it was 33 percent. The government has reduced the eligibility period for getting full pension from 33 years to 30 years. Along with this, the period of taking VRS has been reduced from 20 years to 17 years. It is estimated that about 3 lakh 80 thousand workers of the state will be benefited by these decisions.
