The last time the DA hike was announced in March
Let us tell that in March 2023, the central government had announced to increase the dearness allowance. Then the government had increased DA by 4 percent. This increase was implemented from January 2023. Now the announcement of increase in dearness allowance is to be made for July, which will be considered applicable from April 1. At present, the government is going to release the numbers of AICPI index on May 31, so that the employees will get an idea of how much the dearness allowance is going to increase.
