This time DA slab 596 has been recorded under the order issued by the Indian Banks Association. Along with this, DA has been increased by 8 slabs for May, June and July 2023. Along with this, DA slab 588 was recorded for the last quarter payment.

Actually as per calculation the average CPI is 8738 and the number of DA slabs under it is 596 (8738-6352=2386/4=596 slabs). The previous quarterly payment of DA was on 588 slab. Therefore, there has been an increase in the DA slabs by ‘8’ i.e. 596 slabs for the payment of DA for the months of May, June and July, 2023.
DA increased to 41.72 percent
On the other hand, under the 11th bipartite agreement, section 7 of 11 November 2020 and section 3 of the joint note 11 November 2020, the dearness allowance of bank employees and officers has been increased for the May, June and July quarters. It has been increased to 41.72 percent.
Salary will be increased to about 45000 rupees
Earlier, the dearness allowance for February-March and April was 41.16%. 41.72% of the salary will be provided to the bank employees as dearness allowance. With this, their salary can increase up to Rs 45,000.
