Delhi Metro News: Delhi Metro has announced that some stations of the under-construction India International Convention and Expo Center Metro Corridor will be opened for travel in July.

After which the passengers will be able to reach Sector 25 directly from Dwarka Sector 21. The maximum benefit of this will be for the passengers coming from Noida-Ghaziabad to Delhi.

Director Vikas Kumar has announced that some stations of the under-construction India International Convention and Expo Center Metro corridor will be opened for travel in July. After which this metro line will reach from Dwarka Sector 21 to Sector 25. This will greatly benefit those passengers who come to Delhi from Noida-Ghaziabad.

Let us tell you that the Delhi Metro India International Convention and Expo Center is building the Metro Corridor. This entire corridor will be ready in the year 2024. Under this, the metro corridor has been constructed between Dwarka Sector 21 to Sector 25,

which has now reached its final stage. It will be opened for travel in July. The Director of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) made this announcement at the 28th Foundation Day program of the Metro.

45 lakh passengers traveling daily in Delhi Metro

In this program, DMRC Managing Director Vikas Kumar said that, at present, Metro is being operated on more than 390 km network in Delhi NCR. At the same time, three metro corridors of about 64 km are also being constructed in Phase 4. Metro has suffered a lot due to Corona, but even after this the work of Phase IV projects was not stopped.

He said that all these projects will be completed by the year 2025. Due to Corona, the metro was earlier operating with very little capacity. Vikas Kumar told that, now about 45 lakh passengers are traveling daily from Delhi Metro.

At the same time, more than 60 lakh passengers used to travel before Corona started. Accordingly, the metro is currently running with about 78 percent passenger capacity. He said that Metro expects that soon the number of passengers will be more than before.
