Delhi School Summer Vacation 2024: Summer has started and the temperature is continuously increasing every day. All the students are eagerly waiting for the summer holidays. Every year in summer due to increase in temperature, students get leave from school. Usually these holidays last for a month. During these holidays, students can learn new skills or travel somewhere.
While giving information about the schedule of summer holidays and other holidays for government and government-aided schools in the academic year 2024-25, the Delhi government had said that the summer holidays will start from May 11 and end on June 30, 2024. Which will last for a total of 51 days. However, teachers may have to come to work for two days on June 28 and 29 for essential school activities. If seen, this year, students in Delhi will get one month and 19 days holidays in summer. Projects and assignments will also be given to students during this break. According to reports, Delhi schools will remain open for 220 days in 2024. The Delhi Directorate of Education (DOE) has directed all schools to ensure that studies are conducted for the full 220 days and plan holidays accordingly..
In addition to the summer holidays, the autumn break will start on October 9, 2024 and end on October 11, 2024. As far as winter break is concerned, it is scheduled from January 1 to January 15, 2025.
