Actually, you do not need to carry along with you to avoid driving license challan. The drivers can show these documents kept in digital form on the Digi-Locker platform or m-Parivahan mobile app, if asked by the traffic police and the transport department.

The biggest advantage of saving documents in DigiLocker is that you do not need to carry a hard copy of any of your documents with you.

According to the Transport Department of Delhi Government, the driving license and vehicle registration certificate held in digital format on the Digi-Locker platform or m-Parivahan mobile app are valid documents under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

According to the department these are legally valid as per the certificates issued by the transport department. He clarified that soft copy of driving license and registration certificate in any other form will not be accepted as original record.

What is DigiLocker

DigiLocker is one such way under which you can save and keep documents like your driving license and vehicle registration certificate safe. It was launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Actually this Digi-Locker is linked to your Aadhar card and phone number.

In this, you can save and save the scanned copy of your documents by uploading them in PDF, JPEG or PNG format. The most important thing is that you can also e-sign these documents. It works exactly like a self-attached physical document.

23000 rupees challan will be deducted for Scooty

If you do not follow the traffic rules and according to the new traffic rules, a challan of Rs 23000 can be deducted for your scooty. For driving Scooty without your driving license – Rs 5000 fine,

for driving without registration certificate (RC) – Rs 5000 challan, without insurance – Rs 2000 challan, for breaking air pollution standard – Rs 10000 fine And for driving without helmet- you may have to face a fine of 1000 rupees.

This case dates back to September 2019 when the new traffic rules were implemented. At that time, Dinesh Madan’s challan of Rs 23000 was deducted while taking action against those who did not follow the rules.

On this whole matter, he had to say that he had asked for the papers of the vehicle from his house, but till then the Haryana Traffic Police cut his challan.
