Driving license is made online
After 18 years you can get your driving license. You can apply for your driving license online from the comfort of your home. However, you can only apply for a learning driving license through the online method. To get your permanent license you have to go to RTO office. To apply your DL through online method, you must first go to sarathi.parivahan.gov.in.
What is the complete process
After visiting the website, you have to select the name of your state. After this, you have to click on the option of Apply for Learner’s License. After this, you have to click on the option to apply through your Aadhaar number. Along with this, you also have to select here how you want to give the test. You can also give test through online method, apart from this you can also give test through offline method by going to RTO office. After this you have to submit the details of Aadhaar card and mobile number. Then you have to generate OTP. After entering the OTP, click on the terms and conditions box. After this you have to select the payment mode of the license.
Post process
Before the test starts, you will have to watch a 10 minute video. In this video, a guideline related to driving is given. After watching the video, an OTP and password will be sent to your registered mobile number. After this you have to fill the form and give the test. You have to answer 6 out of 10 questions correctly after you pass the test. Once you pass the test, you will get the learning license in PDF format.
