Actually the employees will be paid in advance. Approval has been given by the CM for this. With the approval of the Chief Minister, government employees will be able to take advance payment of salary on emergent requirement.
System implemented from June 1, 2023
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the Earned Salary Advance Access Drawal Scheme. This system has been implemented from 1 June 2023. Employees will get advance payment of salary on emergent requirement. Available to all state government employees, the scheme will be processed by the Rajasthan Financial Service Delivery Limited. Salary can be paid in advance proportionately before the end of the month.
Advance salary offer
Proportionate deduction of advance payment of salary made at the end of the month under the rule will be held in the next month’s salary. Rajasthan has become the first state in the country to provide this system. Till now advance salary was not offered by any state government.
Set rules and regulations
Under the instructions, the employees of the state government will be entitled to take half of their salary in advance. The same can be paid up to a maximum of ₹ 20000 at a time. An agreement has also been signed by the Finance Department with a non-banking finance company. The preparation of agreements with some of the upcoming financial institutions is going on. Some banks will also be included in these. Along with this, they will not have to pay any interest on salary on taking advance salary. The financial institution will recover only the transaction charges.
In fact, in view of the upcoming elections, the government is preparing to help the employees. In such a situation, many important arrangements can be made. The same decision of Chief Minister Gehlot will provide financial support to the state employee officers. This was announced by the Chief Minister in the budget.
