After 4 percent dearness allowance to the state government employees and double increase in the honorarium of public representatives, now the Manohar Lal Khattar government has announced Group-D. Diwali gift has been given to the employees.

Actually, the state government has decided to give advance salary to Group D employees on the occasion of Diwali. Under this, employees will be able to take advance of Rs 12000 from their salary.
In this regard, an order has also been issued by the Additional Chief Secretary of Haryana Government, in which it has been said that the employees can avail this benefit before November 8. The best thing is that employees will be able to repay the salary advance through installments, that is, a fixed installment will be made from the salary every month.
Increase in dearness allowance/honorarium and pension
- It is worth noting that on Thursday, Haryana’s Manohar Lal Khattar government, while giving a big Diwali gift, has announced an increase in the honorarium of the members including the mayor and chairman of the Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council and committees. The increased honorarium will be given from October 1, 2023. Under this, the honorarium of the first mayor will be Rs 30,000 instead of Rs 20,500, the honorarium of the senior deputy mayor will be Rs 25,000 instead of Rs 16,500, the honorarium of the deputy mayor will be Rs 20,000 instead of Rs 13,000 and the honorarium of councilors will be Rs 15,000. Similarly, the honorarium of other members has been increased from Rs 8000 to Rs 10 thousand.
- While giving Diwali gift to government employees, it has announced a 4 percent increase in DA of government employees. The Central Government has increased the DA of government employees from 42 percent to 46 percent. Now from July 1, 2023, about 3.5 lakh employees of Haryana will also get the benefit of additional 4 percent DA.
- The present state government is providing a monthly pension facility of Rs 10 thousand to the mother tongue Satyagrahis and emergency victims and widows of the Hindi Movement-1957, which has been increased to Rs 15 thousand. Under this, on the basis of the data of family identity card, Old age honor pension has been made for 42,431 people who have completed 60 years of age.
