In fact, the Executive Assistant, Data Entry Operator, Technical Assistant and Accountant working in the Panchayati Raj Department will be paid their honorarium soon by the Government of Bihar. Rs 4 crore 60 lakh 23 thousand has been allocated to Muzaffarpur while Rs 98 crore 63 lakh 81 thousand has been allocated for the state by Panchayati Raj Department.
Instructions to pay the amount of honorarium including salary arrears
For this, Panchayati Raj Department’s Pursuant Officer Kalpana Kumari has written a letter to the District Panchayati Raj Officers. Instructions have been given to pay the amount of honorarium along with their salary arrears to the executive assistants, data entry operators and technical assistants including Lekhpal as soon as possible. Under the recommendation of the State Finance Commission, an amount of Rs 2 billion 98 crore 52 lakh has been sanctioned for payment of honorarium to the officers and employees working in the panchayat from the general fund.

Technical assistants have not been paid their honorarium for 3 months while data entry operators and executive assistants have not been paid for 4 months. Not only this, honorarium has not been paid to Lekhpal for 5 months. Now, soon after allotment of funds, Data Entry Operator, Executive Assistant will be paid salary along with arrears of 4 months while Technical Assistant will be provided with arrears of 3 months.
Lekhpal will be paid his honorarium for this month including arrears of 5 months. In such a situation, 30 to 32 thousand rupees will be seen in his account.
