Bank Employees DA, Employees DA: There is good news for the employees. In fact, they will now be provided more pension after retirement. For this, an agreement has been made in the meeting with the union. Apart from this, the salary of the employees will be increased while the benefit of full DA will be made available to the pensioners. In such a situation, an increase in the pension of employees on different posts can be seen from ₹ 800 to ₹ 16000.
Important benefits for retired employees
Although the pension of pensioners will be increased, but the discussion on the issue of health insurance along with working 5 days a week and 2 days off in the bank has been postponed. A decision can be taken on 4 to 6 months. The way has been cleared for all the bank employees who retired before November 1, 2022, to get more pension. It has been agreed upon in the meeting between the Indian Banks’ Association and the Bank’s Union. This will provide important benefits to the retired employees. According to Venkatachalam, General Secretary of the Bank Employees Association, it has been taken in the meeting of 28 July.
100% benefit of dearness allowance available to bank employees
According to this, important decisions are to be taken in the meeting on 28th June. Under which 100% benefit of dearness allowance will be provided to the bank employees retiring after 1 November 2022. The limit was fixed for the old employees to take advantage of the dearness allowance. Due to which the employees could not get full benefit. This has been agreed upon in the meeting with IBA. For this, the Ministry of Finance will be informed and the retirement employees will start getting the benefit of enhanced pension family pension.
Increase in pension of employees from 800 to 16000 fixed
This decision is expected to benefit 2 lakh pensioners. After the approval of the Ministry of Finance, the increase in the pension of bank employees working in different positions from 800 to ₹ 16000 is considered to be fixed. Till now all the bank employees till October 31, 2022 were provided pension on the basis of DA Tempering Percentage Formula of System whereas the employees retiring on November 1, 2022 and thereafter will get the benefit of 100% neutralization in DA on Uniform Basis.
Tell that the dearness allowance of bank employees will be increased once again from the month of August. Orders for this can be issued soon. Under the order issued in a day or two, there will be an increase in the dearness allowance of the bank employees.
