Pensioners of Chhattisgarh can be given the benefit of 42% dearness relief. Consent has been sought from the Madhya Pradesh government. If Madhya Pradesh government’s consent is given, then the pensioners of Chhattisgarh can also see an increase in dearness relief. A proposal has been sent to the Finance Department for this.
At present, the consent of the State Government is awaited. The consent of both the states is necessary under the Madhya Pradesh Reorganization Act. By writing a letter to the Finance Department of Chhattisgarh, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has sought consent under Section 49 of the Madhya Pradesh Reorganization Act 2000. If this happens, then the pensioners of Chhattisgarh can be given the benefit of 4% additional dearness relief from July 1. Along with the increase in the dearness relief in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh government can also increase the dearness relief for the pensioners.
MP: 4% increase in dearness allowance of electricity employees
Earlier, the dearness allowance of the electricity employees was increased by 4% by the Madhya Pradesh government. for which orders were issued. The employees getting the same fifth pay scale have also been given a big gift before Raksha Bandhan. The dearness allowance of the employees coming under the fifth pay scale has been increased by 11%. The same dearness allowance has been increased by 40% for the employees getting the fourth pay scale, the area is to be paid to these employees in three equal installments.4
