Big increase of 16 percent in dearness allowance
A big increase of 16 percent has been made in the dearness allowance from January 2023 for the working employees and pensioners by the Rajasthan government. Employees and pensioners working under the Fifth Pay Commission will get its benefits. Dearness allowance has been increased for those working under this pay commission.
Outstanding arrears will be paid in cash to the pensioners
According to the official statement, CM Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal in this regard. Under the proposal, the rate of dearness allowance of employees and pensioners working under the Fifth Pay Commission and Rajasthan Civil Services Revised Pay Rules 1998 has been revised. Same, from January 1, 2023, the rate of dearness allowance of employees and pensioners working under the Fifth Pay Commission has been increased from 396 percent to 412 percent. The outstanding arrears to the pensioners from January to March will be paid in cash to the pensioners. For government employees performing the same duty, the amount of arrears will be deposited in their General Provident Fund account.
DA was increased in October 2022
Earlier, the rate of dearness allowance for government employees was revised by the Rajasthan government in October 2022. At that time the dearness allowance was 381%. Which was increased to 396%. And now a big increase of 16 percent has been made in it. Also the inflation rate has increased to 412%.
4 percent increase in DA for central employees soon
Tell that soon the dearness allowance for the central employees will be increased at the rate of 4 percent. The dearness allowance for the employees and pensioners working under the Seventh Pay Commission may increase from 42% to 46%. It is believed that in the first week of October, the government can make an important announcement for this. Also, arrears will be paid to the employees during the festive season.
