After the implementation of the Code of Conduct, the Election Commission will now have to take the decision to increase the dearness allowance and dearness relief of staff officers and pensioners. The process for this has been started.
The final decision on the bonus of serving employees including increasing dearness relief and dearness allowance of Rajasthan staff officers and pensioners will be taken by the Election Commission. Now dearness allowance and bonus can be increased after the approval of the committee headed by the Chief Secretary. Actually, bonus also has to be paid to the employees.
Dearness allowance will increase by 4% soon

After increasing the dearness allowance by 4% by the central government, the state government has also started the process of increasing dearness relief and dearness allowance for employees and pensioners. After the approval of the screening committee on Wednesday, the DA’s case has been sent to the Election Commission.
The process on dearness allowance and bonus started in the state last week after the central government announced the increase in dearness allowance. After which its file was sent to the Chief Secretary’s office. After the office opened on Wednesday, approval of a three-member screening committee has also been given.
After getting the approval of the screening committee, the matter reached the Election Commission in Delhi via the office of the Chief Electoral Officer. With the final decision being taken by the Election Commission, the employees will be given the benefit of increased dearness allowance along with bonus. It is believed that orders in this regard can be issued before October 30.
Earlier, at the time of 2018 assembly elections, the proposal for bonus was approved by the Election Commission in 3 days. However, it is expected that before the end of October, orders for increase will be issued in the coming week after the approval of the Election Commission. At present, dearness allowance at the rate of 42% is being provided to the employees of Rajasthan receiving seventh salary. With an increase of four percent, it will be increased to 46%.
