UP Roadways Employees Extra Salary: There is good news for thousands of roadways employees of Uttar Pradesh. Now they will get the benefit of extra salary even if they work on national holidays. Finance controller Dilip Kumar Aggarwal has issued a letter in this regard. More than 20 thousand employees will benefit from this. Let us tell you that before this, the last time this additional salary was given to roadways employees was in 2020.
Benefit of extra salary will be available on national holidays
In fact, for a long time , there was a demand by the roadways employees and the roadways union to pay additional salary for working on national holidays , and several memorandums were also submitted by the employees and the union regarding this. On which now the state government has adopted a positive attitude and approved it.
Finance Controller Dilip Kumar Aggarwal has also issued a letter in this regard. Earlier in 2020, this benefit was given to roadways employees working on national festivals like 26 January, 15 August and 2 October. One day extra salary was given to them. After this it was closed due to Corona.
22 thousand workers will get benefits, letter issued
22 thousand employees of the state will benefit from this. In the letter, the Principal Manager Transport Corporation has been asked to take action. It is said that the system of giving the benefit of additional salary has been restarted, the benefit to the employees under UP Industrial Establishment (National Holiday) has been restarted.
The same employees will also be paid additional leave for the pending years of 2021, 2022 and 2023. With this, more than 1300 roadways workers in the state including Prayagraj region will be able to benefit from it.
