The 7th pay commission central employees (employees) were given a big gift by the Modi government of the Center before Diwali. In fact, an increase of 4 percent (DA Hike) was announced in his dearness allowance.
Whose dearness allowance has increased to 38 percent. After being 34 to 38 percent, the central employees will get an increase of up to 20000 in the salary. However, in the meantime, the salary of Defense Force personnel was increased. In fact, their dearness allowance has been increased by 4 percent. for which the order has been issued.
The Dearness Allowance payable by the department to officers of the Armed Forces including non-combatants (enrollees) and personnel below the rank of officer, issued by the Ministry of Defense and Saturday Affairs, is at the existing rate of 34% with effect from 01.07.2022. will be increased from 38%. The same increase will be effective from July 1, 2022. Along with this, 3 months arrears will be paid to the military employees.
The term ‘Basic Pay’ in the revised pay structure means the pay drawn in the prescribed level in the Pay Matrix as per the recommendations of 7th CPC approved by the Government but does not include any other type of pay like special pay etc.
Dearness Allowance will continue to be an exclusive element of remuneration and will not be treated as pay within the ambit of the Pay Rules of Defense Force Personnel. In payment of Dearness Allowance fractions of 50 paise and above may be rounded off to the next higher rupee and fractions above 50 paise may be ignored.
