Employees Holiday: There is big news for Jharkhand Railway employees. Before Dussehra, Railways has taken a big decision regarding the holidays of the employees. Now railway employees will not get leave on Private Medical Certificate (PCM). This arrangement will remain effective till 31 December 2023. An order has been issued by Chakradharpur division in this regard.
That’s why Railways issued a new arrangement
Actually, during the festival season, railway employees apply for leave to celebrate festivals like Durga Puja, Diwali, Chhath. Those who get leave go to celebrate the festival with their families, but those who do not get leave, take leave on the pretext of illness.
They take it and at the time of joining duty, get a private medical certificate made from a doctor and submit it. In such a situation, taking leave of employees during government holidays during the festival season causes problems in the operation of trains, hence Railways has already made this arrangement. Chakradharpur Division has issued an order to ensure normal operation of trains.
Railways issued this order
Railway administration has issued an order banning all such private medical certificates till 31st December, now employees will not be able to take leave on the pretext of illness.
