10% hike in salary proposed
Big preparations have been made by the Uttarakhand government. Under this, there may be another increase in the honorarium of the employees. A proposal has been sent to the government to increase the honorarium of subordinate employees by 10%. The proposal is being studied by the government. Soon the state government can give its permission on the increase of 10% in the salary of the employee.
A proposal has been prepared to increase the salaries of five categories from unskilled labor to officer level by 10%. Along with this, an additional financial burden of Rs 40.62 crore will be seen on the state government every year. The sending of the proposal has been confirmed by HD Brigadier JS Bisht of Upnal, Uttarakhand. According to him, a proposal has been prepared to increase the honorarium by up to 10%.

If this is approved by the state government, then the salaries of more skilled workers may increase from Rs 12451 to Rs 13636. The present wage for semi-skilled workers is 14235. After 10% increase in salary, it can increase to Rs 15980.
The current salary for skilled workers is 15739, which can be increased to 17254. The wages of highly skilled workers may increase to Rs 19,126. Their current salary is Rs 17441 whereas the salary of the officer category may also see an increase of 10%. Instead of the current salary of Rs 35610, they can be given a benefit of Rs 39171.
Know when and when there was an increase
According to Brigadier JNS Bisht, the proposal has been sent to the government. A slab-wise increase of 10% has been prepared. Further action will be completed after the final decision on state governance is taken.
Let us tell you that earlier the honorarium of Upnal employees was increased by 15 to 20% on 21 August 2020. After which, next year in 2021, on 21st October, the quarterly incentive amount was increased to double as per the service period.
Under this, employees with less than 10 years of service were provided Rs 4800 instead of Rs 2800, while employees with more than 10 years of service were provided Rs 5800 instead of Rs 2800.
Incentive amount is being provided separately in addition to honorarium. The subpanel was formed in 2004. After which till now there has been an increase in his salary from 13000 to 20000. Soon another big increase in his salary can be recorded.
