A 10 percent increase in the honorarium was announced for para teachers of Jharkhand. However, for this it was made mandatory to achieve success in the assessment test. The assessment test will be held in July. Jharkhand Academy Council will announce the date of assessment exam in June. There will be a 10 percent increase in the honorarium of para teachers who are successful in the same examination. Along with this, an increase in their salary will also be seen.
By the way, para teacher, whose certificate verification has been completed but he could not apply. They may get one more chance. Its preparations are being completed by the Department of School Education and Literacy. More than 47000 mercury teachers of the state will be given the benefit of increment. In fact, out of 47447 trained mercury teachers of the state, the certificates of 45502 mercury teachers have been checked. While 42000 para teachers have applied for the assessment exam.
Salary will increase so much
The honorarium of Tet cum trained para teachers of the state was increased by 50 percent and that of only trained para teachers was increased by 40 percent. Similarly, the honorarium of para teachers who pass the assessment test will be increased by 10 percent, although this increase has not been seen so far. The certificate was examined till May 2023.
Talking about the assessment test, in the assessment test to be taken at two levels, the examination for first to fifth grade para teachers will be conducted in the first level, while the examination for fifth to eighth grade para teachers will be conducted in the second level. The first level exam will be of 200 marks. In which there will be six papers. Out of these 6 papers, it will be mandatory to take the exam of four.

An increase of Rs 1,200 can be seen in the honorarium of trained mercury teachers of class I to V, while the honorarium of teachers of class VI to VIII can be increased by Rs 1,400 after passing the assessment test.
