Against this decision, an appeal was filed in the Supreme Court. The petition has also been dismissed by the Supreme Court. As per the order of the Supreme Court, instructions were given to implement it on all the employees.

Salary hike benefits for employees
According to the information coming in the same media, this benefit can be given to the central state employees before the elections. Actually the meeting was held in the past days. In which the Cabinet Secretary has told CM Secretary Shiv Gopal Verma that it is being considered by the government. Employees can be given the benefit of increment.
Salary hike benefits for employees retiring on June and December
The JCM meeting was organized by the All India Railwaymen’s Federation on the issue of salary hike of the employees. In which Assistant General Secretary Mukesh Mathur says that according to the recommendation of the Sixth Pay Commission, increments are provided to Central and State Government employees every year on July 1, while in the Seventh Pay Commission it has been made January 1 and July 1. . In such a situation, the employees retiring on 30th June and 31st December are not getting the benefit of increment. Whereas after completing 1 year of service they should be given the benefit of increment.
Government is considering the matter
Branch president Subhash Pareek in the matter says that as in the cabinet meeting, the cabinet secretary has written to staff site secretary Shiv Gopal Mishra that the government is considering the matter. Soon a big decision can be taken on this issue. Decisions were also taken by the court in other states including Rajasthan to retire such employees by giving them the benefit of increment. A petition was filed in the Supreme Court against this decision by the Central Government, which was dismissed. The Supreme Court had said in the decision that it should be applied equally to all the employees of the country. In such a situation, more than 1 lakh employees of the Central and State Government can get its benefit.
