The committee was formed by the Uttar Pradesh Provincial Medical Service Association to increase the retirement age of doctors by 3 years. The committee has sent its report to the Directorate General objecting to increasing the age limit. On the other hand, the committee has said in its report that after the age of 62, many doctors become unable to provide their services to the patients. In such a situation, the committee suggested that the doctors should be given the option of retirement and if any doctor wants to return to the job again, he would continue to serve.

In which the doctor can decide whether he wants to continue in service or not. Apart from this, other suggestions have also been sent by the committee to the Directorate General. Lack of specialist doctor in government hospital
There is a shortage of specialist doctors in government hospitals of Uttar Pradesh, doctors are not ready to join government service for low salaries.
