Salary increased to Rs 11200, benefit of 12% EPF also
Before Rakshabandhan, the Haryana government has given a big gift to the employees. The honorarium of 7000 rural watchmen working under the Panchayati Department has been increased, the salary of the employees has been increased from Rs 7000 to Rs 11200 per month. Not only this, the benefit of 12% EPF will also be made available to the rural watchmen. The amount of EPF will be deposited by the state government from its treasury in the account of rural watchmen. Thousands of rupees will be made available annually to the watchmen for sticks and batteries.
Uniform allowance also increased from Rs 2500 to Rs 4000
Along with this, other allowances of rural watchmen have also been increased by the Chief Minister. Their uniform allowance has also been increased from Rs. 2500 to Rs. 4000. While the rural watchmen used to get cycle once after full duty, now new cycle will be provided to them after 5 years.
Salary on 7th of every month
2 lakh rupees will be made available to the retirement programming watchmen while instead of Rs. The Chief Minister has given instructions to the officers for this.
Earlier, no compensation amount was provided to the family of rural watchmen in case of their death while on duty, but now the Chief Minister has also announced an assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the family of a rural watchman in case of his death in the age group of 18 to 40 years. . On the death of rural watchmen aged between 40 to 60 years, financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh will be provided to the family.
