37% increase in salary
The salary of outsourced employees working on contract basis in the Electricity Department has been increased by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. 27000 employees will get its benefit. CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced 37% pay hike and insurance coverage for outsourced employees. With the increase of 37 percent in the salary, an increase in the salary of the employees can be seen up to ₹ 21000 per month. Along with this, the employees placed on contract-outsource will also get the benefit of insurance coverage.
Increment has been made more than 21000
Explain that a fixed amount was made available as salary to the outsourced employees without any other benefits. Now it has also been decided to provide group insurance to the contract and outsourced employees of Andhra Pradesh besides increment in wages. Orders for this have been issued by the Special Chief Secretary of the department. After which the formal announcement has been made. With this move, there will be a record increase in the salary of 27000 outsourcing employees. With this, his increment has been increased to more than ₹ 21000.
Establishment of Corporation for Outsourcing Services
The orders for setting up the Andhra Pradesh Corporation for Outsourcing Services were issued by the Govt. In which consideration is being given to regularize the employees working on contract basis for more than 5 years. Soon an important decision can be taken on this.
Before this, in January 2022, the salary of outsourced employees working in three categories in all government departments was increased. The salary of the employees like senior accountant, data processing officer etc. was increased to 21500 per month while junior assistant was announced to 18500 per month for category 2 employees like telephone operator and data entry operator. Guard cooks etc. are being given a benefit of 15000 per month.
