Monthly Salary available before 22nd August
Big relief has been given to the employees by the Government of Kerala. Salaries for the month of July to KSRTC employees will be made available before August 22. Along with this, they will get bonus and festival allowances before Onam. Ministers Bal Gopal, Antony Raju and Shivam Kutty have given this ruling in discussion with recognized trade union leaders.
Will get the benefit of allowance bonus
Let us tell you that last year no Onam benefit was given to KSRTC employees. The same employees say that if the government keeps its promise, then the workers of CITU TDF and BMS will call off their strike on August 26.
Actually KSRTC management has agreed to give ₹ 4000 bonus and ₹ 2750 festival allowance to the employees. Bonus will be given to those people whose basic salary is less than ₹ 34000. Festive allowances will be made available to others. A benefit of Rs 1000 is to be made available to each temporary employee.
Although union leaders asked the government to make advance payment by taking renewal overdraft, but the ministers did not give any assurance on this. He said that it will be considered. Instructions have been given to discuss other issues including transfer of employees. No clear decision has been taken on whether the pension arrears of 2 months should be paid or not. The outstanding salaries of KSRTC employees will be disbursed by August 22.
