An important decision has been given by the High Court for the employees. Actually they will be paid salary before 10th of the month. Instructions have been given to the corporation for this. Also, by August 24 and 25, the amount up to the month of July will be transferred to the employees’ accounts. For this, the amount has been allocated by the government to the corporation.

For this orders were given by the High Court in favor of the employees. The court said in the order that the government should provide necessary assistance for this. At the same time, it has been clarified in the court that the government cannot deny government assistance.
Salary paid on or before 10th of the month
Kerala High Court has given important orders on Thursday. The High Court has said in its order that KSRTC employees should be paid salary on or before the 10th of every month. In the order, the High Court said that the government should provide necessary assistance for this. The government cannot deny government assistance to KSRTC as the corporation also comes under the government.
Justice Devendra Ramachandra, while closing the matter seeking direction to pay salaries to KSRTC employees on time, directed the state government that the management should continue to provide financial assistance to its employees to enable them to pay salaries. The court said that the government cannot shirk its responsibility of providing financial assistance.
Payment of Salary Allowances-DA
Earlier, the court had directed the government to provide at least Rs 30 crore to the corporation by August 24 so that the management could pay salaries to the employees till July before the start of Onam. Finance Minister Bal Gopal had said that the department would set ₹40 in the SRTC’s account. To which the entire salary of July will be paid to the employees. Earlier, the department had given Rs 30 crore to KSRTC.
On August 24, the employees have been paid their salaries till July. Along with this, according to the announcement of the Transport Minister, ₹ 1000 was proposed to the employees as allowance, ₹ 1000 as advance. However, the demand of Rs 2750 was being made by the trade union. The corporation will have to raise an additional Rs 7 crore to pay the festival allowance to KSRTC. Along with this, KSRTC will have to raise an additional Rs 13 crore to clear fuel dues with oil marketing companies.
