The bonus amount can be paid to Coal India employees from today. However, there are many employees who will not be given the benefit of bonus.
Employees Bonus, Bonus: Amidst Dussehra, many employees have been given a big relief . On one hand, the dearness allowance of central employees has been increased by 4% by the Modi government. The Coal management has also announced bonus for its employees . Bonus will also be paid to the employees soon. However, meanwhile there are some employees who will not be given the benefit of bonus.
Coal India has announced bonus for its employees working in its subsidiaries. This year they will be given the benefit of bonus up to Rs 85000. Orders have been issued to make its payment on or before October 21.
The payment of the same bonus is expected to start from today, October 19. Meanwhile, many conditions have also been imposed by the management. Bonus will be paid only to those employees who fulfill these conditions. However, there are many employees who do not fulfill these conditions. They will not get the benefit of bonus. This order has been issued with the approval of the authority for necessary action.
Know what is the condition
- Under the order issued, bonus will be paid on prorata basis to employees who have worked for less than 30 working days in the year 2022-23. They will be eligible for it.
- Apart from this, under the Apprenticeship Act 1961, bonus will not be paid to the trainees of the establishment.
- The same will not be paid to employees dismissed from service for fraud, violence, theft, misuse, vandalism of company property.
- Bonus amount can be paid to employees only after fulfilling all the conditions including taking VRS, retirement, death during service, resignation.
The same amount of bonus along with increased salary is being paid to the employees of Coal India. In such a situation, a free amount of Rs 1 to 1.5 lakh can be seen in their account. Recently, Wage Revision 11 was approved for Coal India employees. However, a big discrepancy was seen in this.
In fact, the salaries of the employees were exceeding that of the officers. For which a petition was filed in the High Court. It is still being heard in Jabalpur High Court. The management is continuing its efforts to resolve the matter at its own level. It is believed that the management may eliminate the A1 category of employees. However, the opinion of the employee union has been sought for this. At present no official confirmation has been made on this.
