For this now you do not have to visit the website of Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) you can view your EPF passbook using UMANG application. All you need to do is keep your Universal Account Number with you.

- First of all, you have to search EPFO inside the Umang app.
- In the next step, you click on View Passbook.
- After this you have to enter your UAN number.
- After this you click on Get OTP and then click on Submit OTP.
- After that select your Member ID and download the e-passbook.

What is Umang App?
- UMANG is the only official app where you can avail various services of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) in a single app. This app is available on both Android and iOS.
- It helps individuals to access state and central government services like Aadhaar, National Pension Scheme (NPS), ABHA health scheme and Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF).
- The Umang app allows users to check their PF balance, file withdrawal claim, apply for UAN, check claim status and apply for life certificate, among other things.
EPF balance can also be checked by miss call
If you are registered on the UAN site, you can get the information by giving a missed call on 011-22901406 from your registered mobile number. Make sure that your bank account details, Aadhaar and PAN are included in your UAN. You can request for this facility from your employer.
