How to know your PPO number?
First of all you have to log on to- www.epfindia.gov.in .
After this you click on the Pensioners Portal under Online Services.
After reaching the ‘Welcome Portal of Pensioners’, you will have to click on ‘Know Your PPO Number’. After this you will have to enter your bank account number or PF number.
After submitting the information, you will have to show your PPO number.
Apart from this, the member ID and pension type will also be received.
PPO number is required while applying for pension and submitting your annual life certificate. If one does not know his/her PPO number, it becomes quite difficult to transfer the PF account from one bank branch to another.
