Only two weeks are left for the month of September to end. There are many financial deadlines in this month of September. Everyone will have to complete all these finance related tasks before time, otherwise they may face problems. Actually, many changes are going to happen from October 1. Let us know about 5 such tasks, which you will have to complete before October 1 i.e. till the end of the month.

1- To provide basis for Small Savings Scheme-

If the existing customers of Small Savings Scheme do not provide their Aadhaar number by 30th September, then their accounts will be suspended on 1st October 2023. It is necessary to provide Aadhaar number to continue small savings schemes like Senior Citizens Savings Scheme (SCSS), Public Provident Fund (PPF), National Savings Certificate (NSC) or Post Office Plan till 30th September.

2- SBI WeCare-

The last date for senior citizens to invest in WeCare Special Fixed Deposit of State Bank of India is 30 September 2023. Only senior citizens are eligible for this scheme, which offers strong interest. An additional interest of 50 bps is given by the bank on this account. 7.5 percent interest is available on SBI Wecare account.

3- IDBI Amrit Mahotsav FD-

The last date to invest in this special FD of SBI is 30 September 2023. Under the 375-day Amrit Mahotsav FD scheme, the general public, NRE and NRO get 7.10 percent interest from the bank. Whereas senior citizens get 7.60 percent interest on FD of this period. On the other hand, 444 day FD is getting 7.15 percent interest and senior citizens get 7.65 percent interest.

4- Demat and MF Nomination-

SEBI has extended the last date for nomination or exit from trading and demat account holders. The new deadline is 30 September. If you do not register the nominee in your demat account by this date, then your demat account may be frozen.

5- Changing Rs 2000 note-

Reserve Bank of India has demonetized Rs 2000 notes and had given 4 months time to replace them. The last date for exchanging these notes is 30 September 2023, after which even if you have Rs 2000 notes, you will not be able to exchange them and they will become invalid.
