Forbes India Top 100 Richest List 2023: Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani is now the richest Indian in the 2023 Forbes India’s 100 Richest List, defeating Gautam Adani to take the top position.

Forbes India Top 100 Richest List 2023: Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani has topped the 2023 Forbes list of India’s 100 richest with a net worth of $92 billion. He transformed Reliance Industries into a multi-functional conglomerate and strengthened his succession planning by appointing all three children to the company’s board.

Once again, Mukesh Ambani overtook Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, who slipped to second place. After the Hindenburg Report his net worth fell rapidly. At present Adani’s total assets are $68 billion.

According to the Forbes list of India’s 100 richest, software tycoon Shiv Nadar is at the third position in the list with a wealth of $29.3 billion, followed by Savitri Jindal with a wealth of $24 billion.

Savitri Jindal’s wealth increased by 46% and stood at fourth position with $24 billion. Radhakishan Damani of Avenue Supermarts is also named in the top five, whose wealth has reduced to $23 billion from $27.6 billion earlier.

The Forbes list came a day after the Hurun India Rich List 2023, which also showed similar data. According to the Hurun list also, Mukesh Ambani has again regained the title of the richest Indian, leaving behind Gautam Adani. Adani has slipped to second place in this race.
