There is relief news for ration card holders. They will get the benefit of important schemes. Also, ration will be distributed till November 20.
Ration Card, Free Ration Card: If you are a ration card holder and are taking advantage of the government’s free ration scheme, then this news can be very useful for you. Along with the free ration provided on Diwali, the Uttar Pradesh government has given a big gift to the ration card holders. Ration card holders will get the benefit of Ayushman card along with ration. Treatment up to Rs 5 lakh can be provided free of cost. A campaign will be launched across the state for free health insurance. The responsibility of which has been given to all the District Magistrates.
Free distribution of food grains from 5 to 20 November
Distribution of Diwali ration will start from 6th November. Along with this, all the ration card holders have been asked to get Ayushman cards made for their family members. More than 61 lakh families have recently been included in the Patra Grahastha eligibility list of the state’s National Food Security Act. Under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana, facility of free treatment up to Rs. 500000 will be provided to the families every year.
Wheat and rice for the month of November have reached the ration shops. It will be distributed from 5th November. Several instructions have been given for quotabar distribution. To ensure that no customer faces any problem, the food grains allotted for November will be distributed free of cost between November 5 and 20. District Supply Officer Umesh Ka Kumar said that all Antyodaya card holders and eligible household card holders should take their ration before the last date.
The November wheat and rice will be distributed till November 20 under the scheme of National Food Security Act 2013 till the last date of distribution day. Atyodaya card holders will be provided 35 kg of food grains per card. In which 21 kg rice including 14 kg wheat will be given free of cost. 5 kg food grains will be provided to the household card holder. In which 3 kg rice along with 2 kg wheat will be distributed free of cost.
Himachal: Additional quota of sugar available
Himachal government has given big relief to ration card holders before Diwali. This time additional quota of sugar will be made available to the people in the ration depot. The decision has been taken by the government in view of the festival. District Control Food Supply and Consumer Affairs Minister Purna Chandra Thakur confirmed this. He said that during the month of November, this benefit will be given to two lakh ration card holders in the district.
There are around 550 ration depots in Shimla. At these depots, ration is provided on subsidy to about 7 lakh beneficiaries. This time the expectation of sugar quota was less but more quota of sugar of 100 grams per person is being made available to the consumers. In such a situation, consumers will be provided a quota of sugar of 600 grams per person. Along with this, they will also be provided flour, rice, pulses, salt and oil. Let us tell you that sugar is being provided to BPL families at the rate of Rs 13 per kg, whereas to APL families, sugar is being provided at the rate of Rs 30 per kg and to taxable consumers, sugar is being provided at the rate of Rs 41 per kg.
