An important step has been taken by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for ration shops. Kandipapu will be distributed to every beneficiary from next month. Kandipoo is to be distributed to the card holders through the Public Distribution System.
It will be made available to the beneficiaries regularly at the rate of one kg from November. Recently, the State Civil Supplies Department had placed an order for the purchase of 10,000 tonnes of pulses to Hyderabad Agriculture Cooperative Association Limited.
Preparation to provide subsidized pulses

Preparations are being made to supply 2300 tonnes from next month. Preparations have been made to provide subsidized pulses to ration card holders for 3 months. Andhra Pradesh government has also requested the Center to allocate 50 thousand tonnes.
Benefit of Rs 100 Diwali ration kit
Here, the Maharashtra government will provide big relief to the ration card beneficiaries before Diwali. Actually, the benefit of Diwali ration kit of Rs 100 will be given. For this, the proposal was approved in the cabinet meeting.
For which all the preparations have been completed. Along with flour, Poha, sugar, pulses and oil will be made available in the Diwali gift package of Rs 100. For this, an additional burden of Rs 530.15 crore will be seen on the state government.
Diwali ration kits will be distributed between October 25 and November 30. Only 1.67 crore ration card holders will get its benefit. As per the announcement made by the Chief Minister, along with 1 kg sugar, 1 liter oil, half liter rava, gram dal, flour and poha will be provided in the kit.
That is why the process of distribution has been started. Beneficiaries will be able to avail this facility of the state government till 30th November. This scheme has been implemented for 30 days only. Its benefits will be made available to orange ration card holders and other beneficiaries including Antyodaya Ration Scheme.
