Recently, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) approved the appointment of Shailendra Ajmera as resolution professional for GoFirst. Lenders of the airline had recommended appointment of Ajmera as a resolution professional.
The NCLT had earlier appointed Abhilash Lal as the interim resolution professional on May 10, 2023, while accepting the voluntary insolvency proceedings filed by GoFirst after its board was suspended. But now Ajmera has been appointed as resolution professional in his place.
