Good news has come out for the 5th pay commission government employees from the cabinet meeting. Dearness Allowance has been increased by 15 percent (DA Hike). Its benefits will be passed on to the employees. In fact, the cabinet has approved the increase in dearness allowance from July 1, 2022 in the fifth pay scale of the state government employees. The employees will get its benefit in the month of December. 5 months arrears will be paid to the employee pensioners. Along with this, the benefit of increased dearness allowance is to be made available to the employees from the month of December.
Under this, there has been a massive increase of 15 percent in the DA of employee pensioners. Dearness Allowance has been increased from 381 per cent to 396 per cent. Family pension holders have also been approved under the fifth pay scale in dearness relief from July 1, 2022.
In the meeting chaired by the CM, the proposal to increase the dearness allowance of the employees of the fifth and sixth pay scales has been approved. Along with this, on one hand, the dearness allowance for the sixth pay scale has been increased by 9 percent. Before Diwali for the seventh pay scale, the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand had approved dearness allowance of 4 percent of the employees in the cabinet.

The increase in dearness allowance of employees will be effective from July 1, 2022, an increase of four per cent for the seventh pay scale where it has become effective from July 1, 2022. Approval has been given to increase 9% for 6th pay scale employees with effect from 1st July. Due to the increase in the dearness allowance of the employees of the fifth pay scale, their account will see a monthly increase from 500 to 4500.
