Orders have been issued to increase the dearness allowance of the employees. Their dearness allowance has been increased at the rate of 8.9% under the order issued by the Finance Ministry. The benefit of this increase will be available to them from February 2023.
Employees DA Hike: Employees have received a big gift for the new year. His dearness allowance has been increased. for which orders have been issued. Under the order issued by the Ministry of Finance, the dearness allowance of CPSEs 1997 employees has been increased by 8.9 percent.
Reference is made to the new DA scheme in Annexure-III of DPE’s O.M. dated 25.06.1999 vide order dated 25.06.1999 containing Dearness Payable to Board Level and Below Board Level Officers and Non-Unionized Supervisors of CPSEs The rates of allowance have been increased. The rate of DA payable to officers and non-unionized supervisors of CPSEs with effect from 01.01.2023 is 408.4%.
The above rates of DA i.e. 408.4% IDA will be applicable in the case of employees who have been allowed Revised Scale of Pay (1997) vide OPE O.M. dated 25.06.1999.
8.9 percent increase in DA of 1997 employees , will increase to 408.4%
That is, from January 1, 2023, the DA of the employees will increase to 408.4%. Earlier, as on 1 October 2022, his DA was increased to 399.5%. Now once again his DA has been increased by 8.9 percent.
Increase in salary from 22 to 25 thousand rupees
Due to the increase in DA of the employees, an increase of 22 to 25 thousand rupees will be seen in their account. And they will get the benefit of this increase from the month of February.
5.4 percent increase in DA of CPSE 2007 employees , applicable from January 2023
Dearness Allowance payable to Board level and below Board level officers and non-federal supervisors of CPSEs 2007 has been increased at the rate of 5.4 per cent. The rate of Dearness Allowance payable to Executives and Non-Unionized Supervisors of CPSEs has been increased to 201.2% w.e.f. 01.01.2023 for the pay scale of CPSE 2007.
The rate of DA at 201.2% will be applicable in the case of IDA employees who have been allowed Revised Scale of Pay (2007) vide DPE OM dated 26.11.2008, 09.02.2009 and 02.04.2009. Earlier, on October 1, 2022, the DA of CPSE 2007 pay scale employees was increased to 195.8%.
Increase in Dearness Allowance every quarter
Earlier, an increase in the DA of central employees was seen in the month of September. In which the dearness allowance of central employees was increased at the rate of 4 percent. At the same time, their dearness allowance was increased to 38% while talking about CPSE employees, their dearness allowance is increased every quarter.
